Why Your Emails Go to Spam (And How to Fix It)

You send an important email. It lands in spam. Here is why — and the fix takes 10 minutes.

The three records that matter

  • SPF: lists which servers may send email for your domain. Without it, anyone can forge your address.
  • DKIM: cryptographically signs your emails so receivers can verify they were not tampered with.
  • DMARC: tells receivers what to do with mail that fails SPF/DKIM (quarantine or reject).

How to set them up

Your email provider gives you the exact TXT records to add. In your K Host DNS zone editor, add all three — propagation takes minutes to hours.

Beyond DNS

  • Do not send bulk mail from a brand-new domain — warm it up gradually.
  • Keep bounce rates under 2% and spam complaints under 0.1%.
  • Always include a working unsubscribe link in marketing mail.
